Cochin Shipyard Ltd has launched the 17th of the 20 Fast Patrol Vessels being built for Indian Coast Guard. The vessel was named ‘ICGS ARUSH’ and launched by Jyothi Devanand, wife of DIG G Devanand, Coast Guard Refit & Production Superintendent.
CSL has so far delivered 13 vessels in the 20-vessel series and the 14th vessel ICGS Apoorva is scheduled for delivery on July 31. The 13th vessel ICGS Anmol was handed over to Coast Guard on June 1.
