Southern Railway has cancelled some trains originating from Chennai on Monday. This follows the heavy rain and high wind velocity in the Chennai area.
A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railway said here Train no. 22637 Chennai Central – Mangaluru West Coast Express, which was scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 11.30 am on December 12, has been cancelled.
It said Train no. 12685 Chennai Central – Mangaluru Super-fast Express, which was scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 5 pm on Monday, has also been cancelled.
