Global logistics firm DHL Supply Chain has launched its Full Truck Load (FTL) services in Hyderabad to meet the increase in cargo transportation needs from here.
In addition to this, the company is also introducing the ‘carry more for less', a customised delivery solution that includes customised vehicles and dedicated fleet, apart from tracking facilities.
It has launched this service in nine Indian cities so far, including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune and Coimbatore.
The company is set to roll out 19 new branches in strategic business locations across the country to expand its reach and services. This is primarily with a view to tap new opportunities that the logistics sector is expected to throw up after the new GST regime is in place.
Mr Vikas Anand, Chief Operating Officer, DHL Supply Chain India, said the expansion is aimed at supporting the increasing domestic trucking needs.
