Domestic airlines flew 60.16 lakh passengers in February this year which is an increase of 21.63 per cent over the 49.46 lakh passengers carried during the same period in the previous year.
The latest domestic passenger traffic data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation shows that IndiGo carried the maximum number of 22.31 lakh passengers followed by Jet Airways (11.89 lakh) and Air India (10.68 lakh).
