The board of trustees of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust on Wednesday decided to award the contract for the Rs 600 crore container terminal to DP World, Dubai, after it agreed to increase the revenue share by one per cent to 28.09 per cent, a port official said.
DP World is the single bidder for the project. The Dubai Government-owned company, which is already operating a terminal at the port — Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal -- has earlier offered 27.09 per cent of the revenue with the Government.
