East Coast Railway will run special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer vacation.
Special trains would run between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi, Puri and Shirdi, Puri and Sealdah, Puri and Asansol, Visakhapatnam and Quilon, Visakhapatnam and Renigunta, Visakhapatnam and Nanded, Hatia and Yaswantpur, and Santragachhi and Chennai Central on a weekly basis.
According to an ECoR release, the railways would be creating 1,50,314 additional berths that will help it to clear the waiting list of passengers.
Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar weekly special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 8.10 a.m. on every Wednesday between April 3 and June 26 and will arrive at New Delhi at 6.05 a.m. on Thursday.
In the return direction, the train will leave New Delhi at 1 p.m. on every Thursday between April 4 and June 27 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 11.05 a.m. on every Friday.
Puri-Sealdah-Puri weekly special train will leave Puri at 11.35 p.m. on every Sunday between April 14 and June 30 and will arrive at Sealdah at 10.35 a.m. on the next day.
During return, the train will leave Sealdah at 12.35 p.m. on every Sunday between April 14 and June 30 and will arrive at Puri at 10 p.m. on the same day.
03515/03516 Puri-Asansol-Puri weekly special train will leave Puri at 1.45 p.m. on every Saturday between April 13 and June 29 and arrive at Asansol at 3 a.m. on the next day. In return, this train will leave Asansol at 1 a.m. on every Saturday (Friday night) between April 13 and June 29 and arrive at Puri at 12.20 p.m. on the same day.
Hatia-Yeshwantpur-Hatia weekly special train will leave Hatia at 9.40 a.m. on every Thursday between April 4 and June 27 and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 10 p.m. on the next day. In return, this train will leave Yeshwantpur at 8.30 a.m. on every Saturday between April 6 and June 29 and arrive at Hatia at 9.30 p.m. on the next day.
Santragachhi-Chennai Central-Santragachhi weekly special train will leave Santragachhi at 7.10 p.m. on every Saturday between April 6 and June 29 and arrive at Chennai Central at 10.45 p.m. on Sunday.
