Jet Airways today said that it is awaiting clearance from the Competition Commission of India before concluding an agreement with Etihad Airways.
In a conference call with analysts, the airline Chief Financial Officer pointed out that the deal had been cleared by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board and the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
The airline said that with the movement of season from low season to high season and growth in traffic, it is seeing an increase in load factor in business class.
Jet Airways said that Brussels is in its long-term commitment when asked about the status of hub Brussels when the deal with Etihad goes through.
