Feedback Infrastructure and Services Private Ltd (FISPL) has been selected as consultant for the development of green-field access-controlled northern peripheral road in Ghaziabad.
The 20 km, four-lane (extendable to six lanes) northern peripheral road has been proposed to be developed through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode for which FISPL has been selected as a consultant, Industrial and Infrastructure Development Commissioner Anil Kumar Gupta said here.
The consultant will study project involved, technical feasibility, financial viability studies and entire bid process management conforming to PPP guidelines and other State Government rules and regulations.
The decision to select the consultant was taken yesterday after evaluating technical as well as financial bids at bid evaluation committee (BEC) meeting.
“With comparatively lower cost of living and proximity to national capital New Delhi, Ghaziabad is going to be the highest revenue and employment generating industrial district,” IIDC said.
Five bids were received from various companies.
Ghaziabad Development Authority has been nominated as Nodal Agency for implementation of this project with an estimated cost of Rs 440 crore.
The proposed road in Ghaziabad will start from Sharanpur Road in Loni Area and terminate at Dasna on NH-24 (Lucknow Road) bisecting NH-58 (Meerut Road).
