Flight operations were normal at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here today even as the airport witnessed shallow fog.
Though there was fog at the airport, it had no impact on the operations as the visibility did not dip below 100 metres through the night, airport officials said.
Visibility dipped to 50 metres at the third runway this morning, the time when most departures take place. However, it had no impact on the flight movement as the visibility at the main runway was around 1,000 metres, they said.
Yesterday, around 50 flights were affected due to dense fog. Arrival or departure of around 20 flights was cancelled either due to operational reasons or due to bad weather conditions.
