SGK Kishore, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd received the award as the third Best Airport in Airport Service Quality at a ceremony organised by Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific/ World Annual General Assembly in Jordan.
The airport retained its position among the Top 3 airports in its category for the 6th consecutive year in the ASQ survey by ACI. While retaining its ranking, it has been continuously raising its bar of service quality by improving on the score from 4.44 in 2009 to 4.82 in 2014.
Last year, the airport featured in the league of one of the few airports who were awarded the ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence for consistently being in the Top 3 rankings in the world in their category for five consecutive years.
