A consortium of GMR Infrastructure (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Megawide Corporation is among seven consortia short-listed for the race to develop Peso 12.5-billion ($250 million) new terminal building at Clark International Airport in the Philippines.
The Department of Transportation and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, which is overseeing the progress of the tender process, has put out details of the seven consortia in the race. Others in the fray are China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd, China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd, Sinohydro Corporation Ltd, DDT Konstract Inc., R-II Builders Inc and Tokwing Construction Corporation. The Special Bids and Awards Committee on Tuesday opened and evaluated the eligibility documents of these firms.Qualified bidders will move to the next phase of bidding on December 14, which is opening and evaluation of financial documents. The EPC player will be awarded contract by December 15.
