SpiceJet is offering a special discount on flight bookings for defence personnel to mark the occasion of Independence Day. The airline is offering a 100 per cent discount on base fare on all domestic routes for the defence personnel (taxes will be extra). The offer begins on August 15 and the booking of tickets under this scheme will remain open till August 31, 2013. Tickets booked under this special offer would be valid for travel from August 15 to September 30, 2013.
This facility is extended to serving and retired Indian Armed Forces, paramilitary personnel and their families, the airline said. Tickets can be booked though SpiceJet’s official website ( >www.spicejet.com ) or via Toll Free Reservation at 0987 180 3333.
