The losses of Vijay Mallya-owned Kingfisher Airlines, which has been grounded since last October, has widened in the first quarter ended June 30 to Rs 1,156.91 crore compared with the corresponding quarter loss of Rs 963.34 crore last year.
Revenues were, however, nil in Q1 compared with Rs 301.38 crore during the same period last year. EPS is negative at Rs 14.47.
The accumulated losses have grown to Rs 16,023.46 crore as of March 31, 2013, and net worth as at that date is minus Rs 12,919.81 crore.
The consortium banks who had lent monies to the company have recalled their debts in April 2013.
The company in its filing said it has detailed plans for renewal of its operations and has applied to the DGCA to renew the permit and is exploring various options to recapitalise and resume operations.
It may be recalled the airline had already dragged its lenders to court in Bangalore claiming damages worth Rs 4,500 crore.
