Mangalore Central-Puducherry train service from Sept 28

V. Narayanasamy, Union Minister of State for PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pension will flag off the inaugural special train no. 06858 Mangalore Central-Puducherry Express at Mahe railway station on September 28.

A press release by the Palakkad division of the Southern Railway said here on Thursday that the Minister would flag off the inaugural special at Mahe railway station at 4.30 p.m. on September 28.

This special train will leave Mangalore Central at 1.45 p.m. on that day and will reach Puducherry at 10 a.m. on September 29.

The special train will have one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, four sleeper class, six general second class coaches and two luggage brake vans.

The trains will stop at Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Tiruchi, Karur, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Mahe, Thalasserry, Kannur and Kasaragod, the release added.
