Railways will operate Onam special trains between Mangalore Junction and Nagercoil on September 13 and 14.
A press statement by the Palakkad division of the Southern Railways said here that train no. 06306 Nagercoil – Mangalore Junction special will leave Nagercoil at 9.05 pm on September 13 and reach Mangalore Junction at 12.30 pm the next day.
In the return direction, train no. 06305 Mangalore Junction - Nagercoil special will leave Mangalore Junction at 1.35 pm on September 14 and reach Nagercoil at 4.45 am the next day.
The composition of the trains will be one AC 3-tier, six second class chair car, six general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Eraniel, Kulitturai, Neyyatinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur Junction, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod, the statement said.
