Southern Railways has partially cancelled some Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram trains following heavy rains in Thiruvananthapuram.
A press statement by the Palakkad division of Southern Railways said here on Wednesday that train no. 16603 Mangalore Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Maveli Express will be terminated at Varkala. This train will be cancelled between Varkala and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
However, train no. 16604 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Mangalore Central Maveli Express will commence its service only from Kollam to Mangalore Central on Wednesday.
Train no. 16629 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Mangalore Central Malabar Express has been cancelled between Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram Central. This train will commence its service only from Kollam to Mangalore Central on Wednesday.
Train no. 16630 Mangalore Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Malabar Express has been cancelled between Kollam Junction and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
The statement said that train no. 16649 Mangalore Central-Nagercoil Junction Parasuram Express would be terminated at Thrissur and would return as train no. 16650 Nagercoil Junction-Mangalore Central Parasuram Express on Wednesday.
