Meru Cabs has announced a special promotional offer for its customer in Chennai on their first cab booking via the “Meru Cabs App” wherein they can avail a discount of 50 per cent.

With this offer, first time users can avail 50 per cent discount up to a maximum of Rs 100 on their first booking from the mobile app. This offer is valid for customers using all Meru Cabs, Meru Flexi and Meru Genie cab between June 23 and July 22.

Rathin Lahiri, CMO Meru Cabs, in a press release said that Chennai is one of the fastest growing markets with a very high app contribution. "We want more consumers to experience the convenience and control that the Meru app provides and hence the 50 per cent off offer for Chennai customers .”

While booking through the app, customers must enter promo code CHN50 for a 50 per cent off on the fare amount up to a maximum discount of Rs 100. The contest is valid for passengers availing all Meru vehicles in Chennai between the promotional period.

The offer will not be applicable for kerb bookings, street pick-ups, website or bookings via Call-Centre, said the release.
