The Palakkad division of Southern Railway will take up work on expansion of the capacity of train enquiry systems such as touch-screen and coach guidance systems from August 31 to September 2 at stations under its jurisdiction.
A press release said here that during these three days working of touch screens and coach guidance system are likely to be interrupted partially or fully. It requested the passengers to cooperate with the Railways and make use of the manual enquiry system and national train enquiry system through telephone number ‘139’.
