Rinkesh Roy, an IRTS Officer of 1992 batch, has assumed charge as the Chairman of the Paradip Port Trust. Roy assumed charge on December 23.
According to a release issued by the Paradip Port Trust, prior to joining the Paradip Port Trust as its Chairman, he has worked in various capacities with the Railway Operations Department at Khurda Road, Sambalpur, Waltair, Kharagpur, Chakradharpur and Bilaspur divisions.
As General Manager - Operations in Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS), Roy developed a mobile application called ‘Parichaalan’ for freight operations.
