Nearly 50 employees of Kingfisher Airlines held a candle light rally at the domestic terminal of NSC Bose International Airport at Kolkata late in the evening on Friday.
According to sources, the employees were protesting against the non-payment of wages and financial problems of the families of the airline employees.
The airline was issued a show-cause notice from the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation on Friday with cut-off time of 15 days to reply.
