Southern Railway will run special trains to clear the extra passenger rush during the summer season.
It will run Santragachi-Ernakulam Jn. premium superfast weekly special train via Katpadi and Coimbatore.
Train No 02853 Santragachi-Ernakulam junction premium superfast weekly (on Saturdays) special train will leave Santragachi at 5.30 pm on April 4, 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; June 6, 13, 20 and 27 and reach Ernakulam junction at 6 a.m. on Mondays.
Composition of the train will be 4 AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum- brake van coaches.
The train will stop at Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Katpadi and Coimbatore.
Southern Railway will run Ernakulam junction-Santragachi non-premium superfast weekly special train (via. Coimbatore, Katpadi).
Train No.02854 Ernakulam junction-Santragachi non-premium superfast weekly special train will leave Ernakulam junction at 8.50 a.m. on April 7, 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19, 26; June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 (Tuesdays) and reach Santragachi at 11 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Composition of the train will be 4 AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum- brake van coaches.
The train will stop at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak.

The following superfast Jansadharan bi-weekly special trains will be operated between Santragachi-Chennai Central to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Train No.02807 Santragachi-Chennai Central superfast Jansadharan bi-weekly special train will leave Santragachi at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays from April 1 to June 27 and reach Chennai Central at 11.45 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays.
In the return direction, train No. 02808 Chennai Central-Santragachi superfast Jansadharan bi-weekly special train will leave Chennai Central at 7.55 a.m. on Fridays and Mondays from April 3 to June 29 and reach Santragachi at 10.25 a.m.on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
Composition of the trains will be 16 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches with accommodation for the physically challenged.
The trains will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrakh, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Berhampur, Palasa, Vizianagaram, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore and Gudur, the release from Southern Railway said.
