Southern Railway today announced cancellation and rescheduling of some trains to Andhra Pradesh and Odisha in the aftermath of cyclone Phailin that crossed the east coast.
The Howrah Mail scheduled to leave from here today at 11.40 p.m. has been cancelled. Similarly, the Coromandel Express to Howrah slated for tomorrow has also been cancelled, a Southern Railway press release said.
Puducherry-Howrah Weekly Express scheduled to leave Puducherry on October 16 and Kochuveli-Santragachi Weekly Special scheduled to leave on October 15 have been cancelled.
Tiruchirapalli-Howrah Bi-Weekly Express scheduled to leave on October 15 has been “rescheduled” to leave on October 16 at 4 p.m.
