Railways will run a special train between Ahmedabad and Mangalore Junction to clear the extra rush of passengers during April-June.
A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railways said here that Train No. 09420 Ahmedabad-Mangalore Junction weekly super-fast AC special will leave Ahmedabad at 4.35 p.m. on Wednesdays from April 3 to June 5 and will reach Mangalore Junction at 7.10 p.m. on Thursdays.
In the return direction, Train No. 09419 Mangalore Junction-Ahmedabad weekly super-fast AC special will leave Mangalore Junction at 10.40 p.m. on Thursdays from April 4 to June 6 and will reach Ahmedabad at 11.15 p.m. on Fridays.
These specials will have one first class AC, three AC 2-tier, nine AC-III tier, two generator-cum-brake van.
These specials will stop at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsarai, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal and Udupi, the release added.
