Railways will run a weekly special train between Ernakulam and Lokmanya Tilak station to clear the extra rush of passengers.
A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railway said here that train no. 01065 Lokmanya Tilak-Ernakulam Junction leaves Lokmanya Tilak (Mumbai) at 4.55 pm on Wednesday and reaches Ernakulam (Kerala) at 9 pm on Thursday. This train will be running on December 19 and 26.
In return direction train no. 01066 Ernakulam-Lokmanya Tilak Express leaves Ernakulam Junction at 11.30 pm on December 20 and 27 and reaches Lokmanya Tilak at 2 am on corresponding Fridays.
The train will run via Shoranur, Kozhikode, Mangalore Junction and Konkan route, and will stop at all important stations, the release added.
