Low-cost carrier SpiceJet has said it will operate additional flight services between Delhi and three other destinations from May 10 to cater to increased travel demand during the summer.
SpiceJet will operate its third flight between Delhi and Dharamshala, which witnesses a surge in tourist flow during this period.
Besides, the airline will roll out fourth additional frequency to Chandigarh from Delhi and a second flight on the Delhi-Amritsar route, it said.
“We are truly grateful to the overwhelming response of our customers to the summer schedule we introduced recently. Our upgraded schedule is a step further to cater to the robust demand on key routes during the holiday season,” SpiceJet Senior Vice President for Commercial, Shilpa Bhatia said.
Earlier this month, the Gurgaon-based carrier had announced upgradation of aircraft, from a 78-seater Bombardier Q400 to 186-seater Boeing 737 on the Delhi-Dehradun route, besides launch of a new flight to Udaipur from Mumbai to cater to the rush during the summer.
