Railways will run special trains between CST Mumbai and Ernakulam Junction during April-June to clear the summer rush of traffic.
A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railways said here that Train No. 01065 CST Mumbai-Ernakulam Junction Special will leave CST Mumbai at 4.05 p.m. on Wednesdays from April 3 to June 5 and reach Ernakulam Junction at 9 p.m. the next day (Thursday).
In return direction, Train No. 01066 Ernakulam Junction-CST Mumbai Special will leave Ernakulam Junction at 11.30 p.m. on Thursdays from April 4 to June 6 and reach CST Mumbai at 2 a.m. on Saturdays.
Composition of the trains will be one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class, three general second class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
These trains will stop at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangmeshwar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mangalore Junction, Kasaragod, Khanangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Shoranur, Thrissur and Aluva.
Train No. 01065 CST Mumbai-Ernakulam Special will stop at Ernakulam town also, the release added.
