Vistara, the newest domestic airline, launched scheduled services from Delhi today.
Speaking to newspersons late on Friday night, Phee Teik Yeoh, Chief Executive Officer, said the airline will offer three-times-a-day flights between Delhi and Mumbai, apart from also flying between Delhi and Ahmedabad. It will also connect Mumbai with Ahmedabad.
The current schedule will remain in force till February 15, Giam Ming Toh, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer added. Vistara’s inaugural flight, a Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi service, was operated on Friday.
Vistara is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines. The airline currently has a fleet of three Airbus A-320 aircraft.
