African countries are emerging as growth poles for the world, according to Dr Muhammed Ngoma, Associate Dean, Research Centre, Makerere University Business School, Kampala, Uganda.
Addressing the MBA students of Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management at Nitte in Udupi district, he said abundant natural resources and manpower would help them emerge as growth poles.
He said that management institutes in the developing countries, including India and Uganda, have to provide education and training programmes to promote creativity and innovation.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Anne Begumisa, Registrar of MUBS, Uganda, said that there are immense opportunities for education and research in MUBS for young Indian students.
A press release said here that the Director of Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management, Prof K. Ramesh Karnik, and the faculty members, Dr G.V. Joshi and Dr Sudhir Raj K., were present on the occasion.
