The Nepalese Prime Minister, Mr Jhala Nath Khanal, has expressed deep sadness over the demise of Godman Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing away of Sai Baba,” he said in a message.
“Sathya Sai Baba was a teacher for millions of people around the world including Nepal,” Mr Khanal said, adding that the spiritual leader spread the message of peace across the world.
86-year-old Sathya Sai Baba, a cult like figure who attracted millions of followers, including the influential, across the globe died at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday after battling serious illness for nearly a month.
