NTPC Korba to set up engineering college

NTPC Korba, as a part of its corporate social responsibility, will invest Rs 10 crore to set up an engineering college at Korba in Chattisgarh. A cheque of Rs 1 crore, as a part of this initiative, was handed over to the Chief Minister, Dr Raman Singh, by NTPC Korba's General Manager, Mr S.K. Roy, on May 20. NTPC Korba has so far provided a total of Rs 9 crore for the institute.
