Oil Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) jointly pledged Rs 12 crore to the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Relief Fund, aimed at relief and rehabilitation on June 25. The oil PSUs also promised to undertake relief work by way of adopting affected villages and rebuilding of infrastructure. Speaking after the announcement, Veerappa Moily, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, said that oil sector PSUs should make their utmost efforts not only towards maintaining supplies of the fuels in these areas, but also carry out relief and rehabilitation work on top most priority.
