Parliament has passed the Negotiable Instruments (amendment) Bill 2015 with the Lower House giving its nod for the changes made to the Bill by Raja Sabha.
The amendments -- which were effected by Rajya Sabha -- were moved in the Lower House by Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Finance.
The Lok Sabha later passed the Bill through a voice vote.
