Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company today said it has handed over two vessels built by it to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) last week.
“The company has successfully constructed and delivered two offshore supply vessels/offshore support vessels to ONGC during the week ended March 2,” it said in a filing to the BSE.
During the quarter ended March 31, the company has delivered three vessels including Panamax Bulk Carrier, the largest vessel of its class built in India on January 21, it said.
It added that two other offshore support vessels — K D Malaviya and P R Nayak, both named after former ONGC chairman and managing directors are equipped with fire fighting class 1 system.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 66.90 a scrip, down 4.77 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
