The Delhi government today increased the reservation quota for OBCs in educational institutes run by it to 21 per cent from the current 15 per cent.
The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting presided over by the Chief Minister, Ms Sheila Dixit. To ensure that increase in reservation for OBCs does not affect general category students, the government has decided to enhance the number of seats in each discipline by 12 per cent.
