In an effort to bring about overall development of the younger generation, the Maharashtra government is planning to come out with a child policy soon. Sources in the Women and Child Development Ministry said that the Child Rights Protection Commission was preparing the draft policy.
“The proposals will be discussed at a meeting on November 29 when the structure of Integrated Child Protection Scheme for implementation in Maharashtra will be taken up for deliberation,” the sources added.
