The President, Ms Pratibha Devisingh Patil, is to pay a State visit to Seychelles and South Africa from April 30, a senior Government official said on Friday.
Briefing newspersons ahead of the visit, the Secretary, West, Ministry of External Affairs, Mr Madhusudan Ganapthi, said the President will be in Seychelles from April 30 to May 1 and in South Africa from May 1 to May 7.
A 41-member business delegation will accompany the President to Seychelles, while a 54-member business delegation will be with the President in South Africa.
The officials said the bilateral trade relations with Seychelles stood at $40.44 million during 2010-11, while that with South Africa was at $11.125 billion in 2010-11. India and South Africa had enhanced the bilateral trade target to $15 billion to be achieved by 2015.
