The Cabinet has offered Rs 9 crore tax concession to Toyota Kirloskar Motors small car plant at Bidadi.
Briefing reporters after the Cabinet meet, Dr V S Acharya, senior Cabinet Minister, said “Keeping Toyota Kirloskar's track record and creating employment in the State, the Government has offered Rs 9 crore tax concession.”
Toyota Kirloskar has committed Rs 4,043 crore to build the small car plant in Bidadi. Of this, Rs 450 crore will be import component.
