The Arunachal Pradesh Government has kept funds in the current financial year to help farmers in rubber plantation.
“An amount of Rs 71 lakh has been earmarked under the 13th Finance Commission for rubber plantations in three divisions of the state namely Banderdewa, Nampong and Pasighat forest divisions,” official sources said here today.
Arunachal Pradesh Forest Corporation Ltd would be the implementing agency and would work out the criteria for selection of beneficiaries in consultation with the State Government, the sources said.
