A businessman and brother of former DMK minister, Mr K.N. Nehru, was found dead today at Thiruvallursolai here within hours after he went for a morning walk.
Police said Mr K.N. Ramajayam had gone for an early morning walk alone, skipping his usual practice of going with his friends, and did not return home even by 9.30 AM, following which the family members lodged a complaint.
His body was later found wrapped in a cloth at Thiruvallursolai. Police suspect that he could have been kidnapped and murdered. Some land grabbing cases are pending against Mr Ramajayam in various courts, they said.
