The Union Cabinet on Tuesday gave ex-post facto approval for a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between India and Cambodia to promote bilateral tourism between the two countries, an official statement said.
The pact, signed during the visit of the Vice-President of India to Cambodia last week, aims to expand bilateral cooperation, exchange information, and encourage cooperation between tourism stakeholders, including hotels and tour operators.
The tie-up will also entail investment in the tourism and hospitality sectors, exchange of visits of tour operators and media, the statement added.
