A special CBI court dismissed a petition challenging freezing of the bank accounts of companies run by Kadapa MP, Mr Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy in the illegal assets case on Monday.
The petition was filed by Jagati Publications which publishes Sakshi daily.
Last week, the CBI froze the bank accounts of Jagati Publications, Indira Television (Sakshi TV) and Janani Infra in various banks, including State Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce.
Earlier, the court had also summoned Mr Reddy to appear before it on May 28 along with 12 others who were named in the three chargesheets filed by the CBI in the case.
