A 10-member high level delegation of CII CEOs is accompanying Finance Minister Arun Jaitley during the latter’s visit to Japan next week.
Jaitley will embark on an official tour to Japan to attract more Japanese investments in India. He is also likely to give a lecture at the Osaka University besides visiting a power plant in Osaka on June 2, sources said.
The visit assumes significance as it comes on the heels of the Modi-led Government completing two years in office.
The CII CEO delegation is being led by CII President Naushad Forbes. The other members will include Shobana Kamineni, President-Designate CII and Executive Vice-Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd; Ajay S Shriram, Joint Managing Director, DCM Shriram; Amit Kalyani , Executive Director, Bharat Forge Ltd, CK Birla, Chairman of CK Birla Group and Atul Punj, Chairman, Punj Lloyd Ltd.
