Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday said the disinvestment programme was progressing as planned and that advisors for stake sale had been appointed in some cases.
The Centre has in the recent Budget pegged the disinvestment receipts for 2014-15 at ₹63,425 crore.
“The Department of Disinvestment is working on it. It has already appointed advisors in some of the cases and follow up action on those PSUs where part of equity is to be divested is progressing as scheduled,” Jaitley said.
