A fire broke out at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) headquarters in South Mumbai this afternoon, fire officials said.
The fire broke out on the sixth floor of the BMC building at 12.35 pm. It might be due to short circuit, they said.
Following the incident, 4-5 fire engines were rushed to the spot, officials said, adding, no causalities have been reported. The fire has been doused.
