A programme worth Rs 500 crore has been introduced to strengthen health infrastructure in Haryana besides a substantial hike in the budgetary allocation for the sector, the Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, today said.
Addressing doctors after inaugurating a community health services centre here constructed by Rohtak branch of Indian Medical Association, Mr Hooda said Haryana had become a front-running State in education and health sectors.
“The budget of Health Department has been increased significantly by the state government, besides Rs 500 crore programme has been initiated to strengthen health infrastructure in the State,” he said.
