The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday cancelled the bail granted to Mr Vijayasai Reddy, a close aid of Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jagamohan Reddy, in the illegal assets case.
A special court for the Central Bureau of Investigation had last week grated bail to Mr Viajayasai Reddy, who is an auditor for some of the businesses of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy.
The High Court, which acted on a petition filed by the CBI requesting cancellation of bail, had also faulted the special court’s decision to give bail on the basis that the CBI did not arrest other key accused in the case.
