India and Bahrain have signed a tax information exchange agreement (TIEA) to promote economic cooperation between the two countries. This is the tenth TIEA signed by India over the last three years. This agreement was one of a number signed during a two-day state visit by a senior Bahrain delegation led by Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince of Bahrain and Chairman of the Bahrain Economic Development Board. The delegation was visiting Mumbai and Delhi to strengthen bilateral relations and highlight investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
