The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms J. Jayalalithaa, today allotted over Rs 150 crore for laying bye-pass roads in different parts of the State.
A government release here said that she had allotted Rs 152.78 crore towards laying roads at Tenkasi, Sankarankovil, Ambasmuthram, Muthukulathur, Bhavani, Namakkal, Tiruchengode, Cuddalore, Arcot, Tirpuathur and Tiruvannamalai towns.
The proposed projects will help in decongesting roads in these towns, it added.
