The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has been allowed to impose a 10 per cent power cut on industrial consumers.

A formal endorsement of its plea in this regard was conveyed to it by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission this afternoon.

But the prevailing cyclical 30-minute load-shedding during the evening hours would not be allowed to continue beyond May 31. The KSEB had requested that the schedule last until June end.
