The Mizoram government has constituted a State boundary committee chaired by the former Minister, Mr C. Chawngkunga, to look into boundary disputes with neighbouring States, especially Assam and Tripura.
Officials said that the Director of State land revenue and settlement department was appointed as member-secretary of the committee.
The terms of reference of the boundary committee included study of boundary disputes and making recommendations to the state government and also to conduct a study on border fencing.
